Send Professional Emails Directly from Stagewise

Stagewise ERP makes it easy to send quotations and business emails directly from your system. By connecting your Gmail account, you can send emails from professional addresses like sales@company.com or accounting@company.com without leaving the platform.

This guide will walk you through the complete setup process in simple, easy-to-follow steps.


What You Can Do with Gmail Integration

Once you connect your Gmail account to Stagewise, you can:

  • Send emails from multiple business accounts (sales, accounting, support, etc.)
  • Attach quotation PDFs automatically when sharing with clients
  • Keep everything in one place without switching between apps
  • Track which emails were sent directly from quotation tasks

Note: Currently, Stagewise supports sending emails. Reading and managing incoming emails will be available in future updates.


Before You Start

Make sure you have:

  • Access to the Gmail account you want to connect
  • Admin or appropriate permissions in your Stagewise ERP system
  • A few minutes to complete the setup

Step 1: Navigate to Gmail Integration

  1. Log in to your Stagewise ERP account
  2. Look at the left navigation menu
  3. Click on “Integration”
  4. Select “Gmail” from the integration options

Step 2: Add a New Account

Once you’re on the Gmail integration page:

  1. Click the “Add New Account” button
  2. This will start the connection process with Google

Step 3: Complete Google Authentication

Now you’ll go through Google’s secure login process:

  1. Sign in to your Google account when prompted
  2. Review the permissions that Stagewise is requesting
  3. Look for “Send email” permission in the consent screen
  4. Click “Allow” to grant Stagewise permission to send emails on your behalf

🔒 Security Note

Stagewise only requests permission to send emails. We cannot read your emails, access your contacts, or perform any other actions. Your data stays secure and private.


Step 4: Confirm Successful Integration

After you authorize the connection:

  1. You’ll see a success message confirming the integration
  2. Your Gmail account will now appear in the list of connected accounts
  3. You can add multiple accounts by repeating Steps 2-4

Step 5: Send Your First Email from Stagewise

Now that your Gmail is connected, here’s how to use it:

Sending a Quotation via Email

  1. Open any quotation in Stagewise
  2. Scroll down to the quotation PDF section
  3. Look for the “Share via Email” button
  4. Click on it to open the email dialog

Composing Your Email

  1. Select sender account - Choose which email address to send from (e.g., sales@company.com)
  2. Enter target email address - Type in your client’s email address
  3. Click Send

That’s it! Your email will be sent with the quotation PDF automatically attached.


Using Multiple Email Accounts

Stagewise supports multiple sender email addresses, which is perfect for:

To add more accounts, simply repeat the setup process for each Gmail account you want to connect.


Troubleshooting Tips

Can’t see the “Add New Account” button?

Make sure you have the necessary permissions in your Stagewise account. Contact your system administrator if needed.

Google authentication fails?

  • Check that you’re using the correct Gmail account
  • Ensure your Google account has access to the email address
  • Try using an incognito/private browser window

Email not sending?

  • Verify that the Gmail account is still connected in the Integration settings
  • Check that you’ve selected a sender account before clicking Send
  • Make sure the recipient email address is correct
